My job. Sweating/busting my ass all day. For some reason being under a sweaty shirt for 8 hrs a day has cleared my body acne up COMPLETELY. Why is that? I though that would have only made it worse. Meanwhile my face is goinng crazy and I wipe the sweat off my face. Maybe I should wrap something around my face? lol. I also worked graveyard this week so I had an energy drink every night so I don't think all that sugar and caffeine helped my face at all. I also didnt sleep very well all week. Anyway thats what did it for me. Anyone else have this happen or have an explanation?

Do you wipe the sweat off your face with your hands or a dirty cloth? That could be adding bacteria to your face, which is made worse by a moist environment. As far as your back goes, I don't know, I always heard sweating comlicated acne because it provided a warm, moist environment for bacteria to thrive. Maybe the above poster is correct that the sweat is removing toxins? My advice is to wash your hands and splash your face with water throughout the day when you get the chance, and keep a pack of clean tissues handy to wipe your face with.

You know, I've noticed that when I spend more time outside being active, my bacne tends to go away completely. I'm just as confused as you are!

Seriously.
Before this summer started, like a week ago my bacne wasn't that bad..
I was in a weights class and that could be why.. but now that it's summer they are getting even worse, maybe because I'm not working out as much anymore, or maybe because it's getting hotter? I dunno. Acne is a strange strange thing. =/

Try not to wipe your face...the clear-skinned people in my family have all warned me about that. I would just use a dry cloth. cool.gif
