Sounds like you should cut back on the dosage or stop. Do a liver detox. Read my most recent posting...

Its completely normal, please don't worry. When you start B5 it reduces the oil in your skin, which is why your skin feels tighter. Also you will have an initial breakout, like you have described, and this can last for 4 months depending on how your skin reacts. Please don't give up, I promise you things will settle down.

Megadosing on one B vitamin is bad. It causes a deficiency in the other B vitamins:

Warning: For best results all other vitamins of B complex should be administered simultaneously. Prolonged ingestion of large doses of any one of the isolated B complex vitamins may result in high urinary losses of other B vitamins and lead to deficiency of these vitamins. [b]

Check out this site:

Read through the list of B vitamins, what they are important for, and what happens when you have a deficiency in them. That is what will happen over time if you megadose on B5, because megadosing on it will cause deficiency of the other B vitamins and therefore the resulting side effects.

All of you who think this is a miracle cure for acne with absolutely no side effects whatsoever need to do a bit more research!
