well it's going good, this morning I didn't moisturise my face after I got out of the shower because it isnt dry and flaking, and I probably put lip balm on 3 times a day compared to 15 times a day... no new pimples either.. redness seems to be going down too.

I started taking zinc every day now just in the hope that if acne does decide to come back it will be a lot less as zinc reduces the production of sebum etc.. anyone else tried this?

Hey man, I was on 60mg the whole course, I expected to get bumped to 80 next visit because it wasn't doing a huge job but he didn't say anything so just stuck with 60, worked great.

I haven't had one pimple since I finished, touched wood. My face doesn't need moistuirser anymore, but yesterday I was in the sun and my face got a bit dry so I did have to apply some, my lips are mildly dry, very mild so I still have to put on blistex maybe 2-3 times a day. I have seen a huge improvement on the redness and red marks, but there's this one red patch on my left cheek, it not from pimples it's just a red patch left from after accutane, hopefully it will fade soon.

Still mild red marks on my right cheek but everything has been smooth sailing, dry lips are gone, however they are somewhat dry, I mean bare minimal, but don't feel the same as they were before accutane.
Oil is minimal, not as much as I used to have, or maybe it just doesn't feel as much since I don't have acne anymore, I get the odd whitehead, extremely small white heads.. so all in all it's been a great decision to take tane, and if the dreaded acne does come back I will get tane in a heartbeat, because I beleive any other method is a complete waste of time..i'll update in a few months or if things start to get bad.
ROUTINE FOR MAINTAINING SKIN AFTER TANE
Jack shit, I do nothing. Regardless of what steps you take if it' going to come back in full force, creams aren't going to stop that, and the derm beleives the same.
Accutane is God.

For anyone who cares.
Things are going great, however there was a scare about a month ago when I was breaking out, I was depressed and took 100 photos of myself examining them and how bad my skin was getting, because they got really sore on my chin, nothing major however. So I went to the derm and he prescribed me differin, I was a bit sceptical of this apply to face sort of shit, because I wanted tane again.. but this stuff has done wonders to maintain my results, my chin is perfectly smooth again, and I have used it on my problem cheek with good results once again.
So 6 months gone life is still great without acne, thanks to tane.

Glad to hear that you're satisfied with the results you got. Concluding from your pics you posted there in the other topic, the accutane did a really great job on your skin. Its also great that the differin helped you to get this small breakout you got there month ago under control again. Enjoy your acne free life.
All the Best!
