You would think that it's a little too late to think that seeing how it's close to being out, from what I've heard at least.

I'd say wait until you've been using the full amount of BP for at least a week or two before adding it. Also, only use AHA once a day (or even every other day) and don't use too much when you're starting out.

Hmm, I actually don't know what would be better. I've never had great luck with spot-treating using anything, really, but I also haven't tried spot-treating with AHA, though Dan swears by it. If you have 10% BP left over, though, I don't see any reason not to use it on active acne.

The biggest problem is that people don’t give the acne cures enough time to actually work, switching from one product to the next on a weekly basis. It can take up to three months for an acne treatment to cure your acne, and you may even notice that your acne appears to be getting worse before it starts to get better. Failure to follow the product directions is another common problem. Using too much of the acne medication can be just as much of a problem as not using it enough, causing your skin to become irritated.

Yep i agree most ant-acne products take several weeks to months before you gain any benifit from it. Most of the time people quit too early.

If you use retinoids then AHA's won't be required since retinoids provide the same exfoliating action as AHA's

Wouldnt it be a good idea if Dan created a moisturizer that had all the same exact ingredients from "Eucerin Skin Renewal"?

I would try to use AHA on its own as a moisturizer. If you put AHA and another lotion on your face at the same time, the AHA tends to liquify it and make it go all runny and weird. I'm not sure if the effectiveness of the AHA is affected or not, though. I had noticed this liquifying effect when I tried to apply moisturizer over areas that I had just spot-treated with AHA, and someone else mentioned that this is a result of the formulations not working well together, so that makes sense. I'd use the AHA lotion as a moisturizer at night, and your SPF 15 moisturizer during the day.
