Hey there! I'm 23 also, and I started accutane just one day before you! Wierd hey?
Anyway, I'm still having breakouts quite often and have a lot of red marks left over from all those breakouts but I had someone whos done accutane come by my log and tell me they were still breaking out in month 3 but it got better. So I'm hoping for the same.
I defenitely think its a good idea to up your dosage too, I'm on 40mg and I'm gonna beg for at least 60mg on my next appt.

I'm sad to hear that you still get some breakouts although you're at the 3 month but one thing I learned since I found this forum is that it'll be better. You're absolutly right with this too. It will be better! There were so many wonderful people posting in my log the last days telling me to keep my chin up! I'm really grateful for that. They gave me much new energy.

I live in Canada, but I also took a small, once a week german class, the only thing I remember is Ich habe ein kopfshmertzen. I don't even know if I spelled that correctly.

Almost right! Ich habe Kopfschmerzen-> ist richtig. (I have a headache-> is right) So people I'm very surprised that so many of you had some german classes at school. There we've englischmuppet, corinne, jarrec and you?Nice! Doesn't know that german is teached in so many countrys all over the world. I think it's difficult to learn. I know what I'm talking about.

So everybody,
I had a very busy day today. I had to do thousands things for university. So skin looked good today.
I got 2 new small zits last night. But they're not as bad as the others I got last week. Maybe it's because of the sunburn I got yesterday. But I'm scared to put some sun-lotion on my skin. Belike the lotion causes new zits? Hence I guess I will put some of my normal face cream on it instead. Side-effects: none today! Only dry skin, but not to bad. I'm glad that the tiredness I had last week is gone. Feels good not to be tired all day.

Anyway I'm off know, I've to watch the new episodes of my 2 favorite series Grey's Anatomy and Emergency Room on TV now.

hey i saw you've been on 20 mg for the past (almost) 3 months now. i first month i was on 20 mg..then the second month i was on 40 mg and i saw a HUGE improvement.(now i'm on 80...too soon to tell yet) you should be going to your derm. soon, right? maybe he'll bump you up to 40 or 60. ask him, maybe. if he does, i think you'll see a huge improvement! ...just a thought. keep us updated!

During my highschool I used to watch English Premiere League and Italy League.
But since my University, I never watch any of them anymore.
But world come, I do watch sometimes .

Yes you're right I guess I'll ask my derm at my next appointment(second week of may) what he thinks about increasing my dosage.

I know it's hard but please try not to worry too much about it, cj . My own acne improved fairly dramatically last year, I had relatively clear skin for the first time in a decade (although it got worse again) and I learned that the worst thing about acne isn't how others see you, but how you see yourself. You're taking action to tackle acne and you're bound to be successful sooner or later. Roaccutane takes time. If you are upset again maybe you'd feel better if you talk to some close friends or family?

One of my middle school teachers told us that one time she was teaching a class and a kid fell asleep in the middle of it. So she called down to the janitor and asked him to wheel his cart up to her classroom, she turned the clock forward 8 hours, had the entire class walk out, and she turned the lights off. The kid didn't wake up. So the Janitor comes in with his cart and the kid wakes up and starts FREAKING out because he thinks he missed soccer practice and a test, etc. I thought that was absolutely hilarious!

corrine_1980: Yes I'm a huge football fan. I love this game. I played for years in a lower-division club. But I have creased. I'm too busy at the moment I've no time for training or anything. My studies are very time-consuming. I'm excited ther're only 43 days to go till the world cup beginns. awesome

oweny: You're right! It's about how I see myself. Maybe it's a kind of psychological thing. Belike others don't think I look that worse or even notice my acne but for me it's the worst thing in the world. And it's severe for me to be self-confident or to feel good although I'm unhappy with my appearance. I guess it's a kind of blockade in my head.

So everybody,
skin looks quite good today, no new zits at the moment. I think my right, worse cheek is improving. The left one is looking good today. Ther're only these ugly red marks. I hope they will fade away soon. I've to say I feel good, I'm confident that it will get better the next days. Maybe it's the turning point. I hope so! I belief I've conquer the low-point from the weekend. I'm feeling much more confident than the last weeks. Acne I will beat you!

Day 85
Soccer/Football/World-Cup-2006-Germany-Countdown: 42 days to go

hi everybody,
so good news today. I only got one new zit near my left eyebrow its one of these guys you can't see cos he's under my skin but it hurts bad when I touch him. Not cool However my cheeks getting better and my forehead is almost clear. Only some old zits and these horrible reds marks there which remind me of the terrible last weeks. side-effects: very mild today, only dry skin and lips but nothing to write home about.

I've played some tennis today, was the first time since last sept. I think I was pretty good. Sure I lost cos of the missing training but it brought me lots of fun anyhow!

Anyways I've presented my software-development elaboration at university today. I was a bit nervous but it went good. After my presentation the prof said: Good work boy. Pretty cool I think

In overall it was a very good day today. Thanks everbody for reading my log. Hope all of you had a great day today. Thanks for your encouragement and all your support

Thanks for you comments on my log, Im sorry to see it hasnt been easier for you. The way I look at it is you are flushing out all these spots that were going to show up all at once.

I will continue to read your log with interest as you are currently on the same dosage as myself. From the sounds of it you should probably be on a higher dosage, I consider myself to be quite mild in comparison to some poor folks on here.
