This is what i have lots of them,i am too scared to use retinol tho as ive read that you will have a massive breakout while using it.
Anyone know how to stop getting the clogged pores?
I am on the csr, which has stopped any nasty spots from forming, but have loads of clogged pores.
That is not necessarily true. I think it depends largely on how prone you are to inflammatory acne.
My acne was primarily comedonal -- almost all clogged pores, with only a few inflamed breakouts caused by hormonal changes. It took 3-4 months for all the bumps to purge, so it didn't all happen at once ... and hardly any of them resulted in real pimples. Mostly it was microzits and hard comedoes pushing up to the surface. Aside from my PMS breakouts, I stopped having inflamed zits entirely ... and now I'm not even getting them during the PMS week.
I exfoliate regularly, and that may have helped. Also I am very careful about bacteria ... I am always changing my towels and pillowcases, and I rarely if ever use a washcloth on my face ... if I do, it's always a clean one.
Anyway ... another excellent product for preventing clogged pores is mandelic acid. I have posted about it recently and at length in the Blackheads, Mild/Moderate and OTC forums.
