well, never mind, there was some topic in prescription medications. some guy of course had to scare people with another accutane story.

ok, its not evening but im little bored so, the update.

DAY 13
as i said, no new major acne.
side effects:
-dry lips
-bit dry skin
-red nose, and area around
-dandruff!!

this redness is annoying ! how to deal with that ? its not so big but...

how many of you experience that ?

im pissed off today.

maybe not so pissed, lol.

i bought some stuff in drug store. hope it will kill the side effects.

the WEEK 2 of my roaccutane adventure has ended !

a little summary :
the good things:
-less acne than ever
-less oily, almost dry forehead
-there were no IB

the not so good things:
-pores are still big especially on nose and in the skin between nose and cheeks
-dry lips has begun
-little redness on nose and the skin b.n.a.ch. (see above)


DAY 14
the yesterday little pimple has grown to a small but painful whitehead. this is the only pimpe i have now, and one veeeery tiny "nano pimple" out there, on chin

skin is not so dry, im moisturizing it at morning and in evening.
dry lips are bit annoying.


how long does it take to have the pores shrunk ?

My pores were really clearing at the end of month 1, but right now I am off accutane because of iPledge until the 18th so I never got a chance to see if they would shrink or not. Congrats on only have a micro pimple and no new ones. That was so great to wake up to no pimples, used to get a few new ones every single day!

im kinda looking forward to it. the dry lips are the worst thing now, redness sucks also but only because i have plenty of red marks around, so it looks like all my face was red, but its only nose and around affected by redness.

im slowly starting to enjoy my life, i eat more things than last year, but still im scared of all chocolate products

i have noticed also some other minor side effects : my hands are bit dry, i have headaches when im long on a computer, dry throat, sometimes i feel sand in my eyes. but these really dont affect my life in any way.

ill buy Arnica Gel to the redness, and red marks,hope it will work a bit.

I don't remember exactly when but my skin started purging teh blackheads on my nose around the end of month 1. It was revolting... and fascinating.. and thrilling since I knew the stuff was WORKING!

DAY 17

acne - almost none. i dont remember any pimples within easter.
side effects - dry lips (altho not so dry) little redness, occasional back pains[brand new!]
less oily.


i moisturize once a day now.

By the way I also got dandruff in my 4 th weeks (I washed my hair too often that time).
THen I reduced it to once in two days.. and the dandruff gone

i bought some head and shoulders stuff to it but my dandruff isnt such annoying, and itching. this is really nothing

yeah, im doin quite well. i havent got that clean face for ages, last time it was that good, it was probably august -september 2005.

i didnt notice the sensitivity. my skin is just dry when i dont moisturize it. after that, it just feel normal i guess.

actually i have couple of spots, i dont know i can call that a pimple. mostly near nose, and one on forehead, bit red. its really tiny.
but it cant be called acne i think:) i would call it 'inflammated clogged pore' lol.but without bacteria. like 0,3 mm big. did you have something like this people?

And by the way, in reponse to your question above, yes, Ive been getting a few of those little "clogged pores" too, and they never end up getting infected either. But, dont get me wrong, I still get the occasional cyst and whitehead every now and then, but much better than it was before the 'tane! This Accutane journey sure is a bumpy ride, but its so worth it. Keep on keepin' on...
