I'm in 3rd week, the roughness and redness should go away shortly. During the 1st week the top layer of my skin just sort of flaked away and then got really smooth. Keep with the program and it should get better :D

I also take it that the bp makes your skin very sensitive to the sun #-o

If you have a burning sensation after you apply the BP, you could be allergic, but you're still on your first week so I think the redness should subside soon enough. Redness is normal, mine lingered around for about a month or so, maybe because I was always in and out of the sun, but anyway keep with the regimen, it worked for me. Good luck!

I think the reason Dan says use a moisturizer with a sunscreen is to help protect the skin from the sun. I haven't had a problem tho and I'm always outside.

If you were allergic, the symptoms would be far worse than simple dryness. You would be red, swollen, and itching like crazy! Just stick with it & you will be fine in another week or so. If not, then maybe you should change your cleanser to something really mild like Cetaphil liquid and make sure your moisturizer is really good. Good luck!
