i dont know if this is a dumb question but i know glycolic acid moisturizes the skin just as great. i myself is having a great moisturizing effect from glycolic acid in a facial cleanser form. i even leave the cleanser on my face for 10 mins and doing that in an ordinary cleanser would surely dry me out. so im wondering if using a glycolic acid lotion/creams would be better than using a moisturizer? thanks in advance!

maybe if you have oily skin, but my skin is dry and too much glycolic makes it sore for me. I wouldnt recommend it as a moisturiser unless combined with something else to make it less irritant.

it depends on your skin. glycolic acid makes me peel and my skin aggravated because I'm already on bp. I wouldn't use it becuase too much stuff on my face actually worsens it, but when my active acne is gone, I'll use it to get rid of marks
