I can't seem to get the benzoyl peroxide applied properly. I find that it can never fully "blend in" with my skin, and it dries up before I have a chance to get it rubbed in the way I want it to. Even if I use a little bp and only on a small portion of my face, there's too much white left over. And after putting on the moisturizer, there's still some bp "residue." Is there some trick to getting the bp rubbed in properly? I don't want to rub it in too quickly, nor forcefully.

Are you just starting the regimen? I had this problem in the very beginning of my treatment. I think it just has to do with your skin adjusting to this new substance. I found that as I kept at it my skin was much more accepting of the BP and now I have barely any problem in absorbing a full 2 fingers worth on my face. Be sure to follow up the BP with a good moisturizer (I use Eucerin renewal).

Also, you may want to try chilling the BP by putting it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before application. For me, it seems this helped a lot in a successful BP application.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Yes, I have pretty much just started the regimen (just under a week). Thanks for the help. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I'll try cooling off the BP tonight before putting it on and see if that helps.
