I have been using retinA and doxy for the past couple of weeks and my face is kind of irritated and red from the retinA BUT it still wanted to do a mask that will maybe soothe it and calm it down without causing too much dryness... anyone know anything good?

Im not sure if its exavtly what your looking for, but ive used the St.Ives botanical swiss mask.. [or something like that] it comes in a tube and at first is VERY gooey.. you apply it and it dries and peels off. When i did it and looked at it i could actually see some oil that had come off of my skin.. eusa_dance.gif but i never really saw DRAMATIC improvement... but it wasnt too expensive, so give it a shot! It also has some good ingredients in it such as alpha hydroxy... HIH.

Im on mino 50mg twice a day and retin A(not micro) every night, and my face gets really flaky, so i use NuSkins Glacial Marine Mud Pack, its awesome, way better than queen helens mint julep mask.

reviews are awesome too, check them out on makeupalley.com.

http://productsales.mynuskin.com and look up glacial marine mud if ur interested.

Homemade masks are the best since they are natural and have no junk/chemicals.

Apple (grated)+honey-helps pimples
Honey (also moisturizing)-helps pimples and dry skin
Oatmeal+honey-helps pimples and improves overall appearance
Egg white-brightens and tightens
Avocado-moisturizes
Papaya-brightens, helps pimples, exfoliates
Strawberries-helps pimples
Banana+honey-won't dry you out

Virtually everything in your kitchen makes for a good mask. Hehe.

If I was going to rec. some for your particular situation. . .
-honey (try to get a natural/organic one)
-plain yogurt+honey+a bit of olive oil
-banana+honey
