OK the nerd i am , i was researching home remedies to help fade my scars. I came across the ever popular lemon juice.

OK the the website suggest soaking a cotton ball in lemon juice (i use 1/4 lemon to get the juice) and applying it to the 'effected area' [aka my whole face lol]. So ive been doing it for about 12 days now (15 days they say you'll see results). I do it once a night and wash off after 10 minutes. Let me say, IT HURTS LIKE HELL! the lemon juice stings and burns like crazy the first 5 minutes. But once im done, my skin feels fresh and smooth.

Lemon Juice has natural acids in it that are suppose to help slough off dead skin and help new skin grow, i guess like an exfollient. I think thats why they recomend it for treating pigment scars (not ice pick scars).
Lemon juice also cleans out your pores.

So to summerize my personal expirience, i think it is a safe natural way to kind of clean your skin. It wont in any way clog pores. I dont tihnk it can harm unless you leave it on too long, then you will get a dry patch of red skin for a couple days. if suited, you can dilute it with water to make it less painful. I like it, and i tihnk it has balanced the tone and PH in my skin.

Anyone else ever tried it?
