I have been on the regimen for about 2 months now and while the results aren't super good it's better than when i did nothing at all. My concern now is if i stop, will my acne come back in full force? It's not a really big hassle to do the regimen but if i have to do this for 5+ years what's the point? There have been days were i forgot to put bp on in the morning and whatnot but i never broke out because of this. Dan has said that wehn he stopped for just one or two days he broke out.... Can anybody who is clear from the regimen please tell what they did after the regimen cleared them. (I don't mean scars but to keep pimples from showng up). Sorry about the long post #-o

I wouldn't call it a cure but a treatment, I've experienced breakouts after not applying bp for a day or two, if your clear still using the regimen will keep them at bay and stop the spots forming. The reg only takes couple of mins, nothing compared to how much you have of the day left

No topicals will cure your acne. Just prevent it. Once you stop, it will only be a matter of time before the acne comes back. I was very nieve in the past. I had very good luck with topicals, and thought I was cured, and would stop. I was very suprised to see my acne come back..Now I am a little wiser, and know that age is the only thing that might cure it for me..

Does anybody else see something wrong with this? To me this is kind of like delaying the inevitable. Has anyone here "outgrown" their acne?

If anyone here outgrew it, they wouldn't need to come to a acne message board again. I am only 20, so I hope I will outgrow it.

There are plenty of people here who don't have acne so i don't think that's a big deal.

The only possible cure for acne is accutane, which only occurs for certain people. There's no such thing as a topical cure as mentioned, only continuing treatment. Check out Dan's faq.

Does he say that this isn't a cure? I've been on accutane 3 times. A cure my foot. It helps i will say but it isn't a cure unless it cures everyone.
