Can anyone who's used this stuff comment on it? I just bought it today, seeing that it contained beta-hydroxy acid, and in my mind i was like...hydroxy acid=good! But when i bought it home and read the back, it said the active ingredient was salicylic acid. I don't really like salicylic acid. I'm using BP, so i'm wary of mixng the two. I've been using Clean and Clear continuous control cream cleaner and been having terrific results, but sometimes...i just feel like something with a little bit of lather, you know? But i'm thinking i'm probably going to exchange this unless i hear somegood stuff about it. Any positive or negative feed back would be greatly appreciated. thnx

Nuetrogena is the devil. the only thing i like out of their skincare range is their cream cleanser..

Salicylic acid IS a beta hydroxy acid (BHA).
As I recall, this is an extremely dehydrating cleanser. I wouldn't use it.

Fantastic product. I've triod loads of products, but this one is by far the best. Cleared my acne of 15 years to just a couple of small zits. Can be a bit drying in winter though.

For the past couple of weeks I've been using Target's imitation of the Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser (original product at http://www.drugstore....Y-PLST-0-BRAND). It's creamy, leaves no residue behind, smells pleasant, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. It doesn't have any SA in it, either. It lathers pretty well though it is a cream and not a liquid, if that's important to you.
One of the best lessons I have learned from reading these forums is that if a product markets itself to people with acne (like so-called acne washes, acne scrubs, acne lotions) that I probably shouldn't touch it, unless it's BP lotion. Chances are that all it would have in it is 2.0% salicyclic acid, which is pretty useless on my skin.

I've tried it but it was WAY too irritating for my skin....might be okay for someone who doesn't have sensitive skin though!

If this doesn't work for you, you might wanna try their Deep Clean cleanser which is basically the same thing but with a much lower salicylic acid content. It works great!
I've tried the Acne Wash before and I agree with others, it's way too harsh.

It was like using regular soap. It did nothing but dry out my skin.

It kinda is working for me, I'm trying the cream, and I'm seeing a small improvement, not much though.
