I know this is kind of off topic, but this is the best I figured when it came to skin and whatnot, so maybe you could point me in a direction here.

I am 17/female, but I have ever-increasing amounts of body hair. Specifically my pubic area seems to be expanding in all directions (stomach, towards hips, thighs, ass, the works). Also, I get hair around my nipples. I would pluck or shave but both cause me ingrown hairs and scarring. Are there any methods of permanent hair removal that would be suitable for these very sensitive areas of the body? What would the cost run?

You might want to look into laser hair removal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser_hair_removal

It requires multiple visits, which could be costly. Have you tried other things such as waxing?

You can get laser removal on your bikini line, but I'm not sure if they'll do it on your nipples. They might do electrolysis there, though, as it's basically shocking and plucking the hair. In a sensitive area like that, though, it'll hurt like mad. Waxing really does decrease the thickness and amount of hair and slow down growth, so try getting professional waxes once a month for awhile and you'll probably see it become more manageable.

Also -- after waxing or plucking, use a salicylic acid product on the area twice a day. It decreases ingrowns which will decreas scarring. Neutrogena pore refining toner is great for the bikini line.
