Lol, I'm glad I cracked you up!

I'm from down south, London baby!!!
When I was on the regimen, tbh, I didnt even know that quiniderm existed... oxy was the only way I could use bp. It aint a gel though, its a cream. It took so long to do the whole skin care thing at night, cos like, I'd put a tiny weenie bit on, ensure it's all absorbed etc. Then add some more etc. People I think in the uk regimen forum have mentioned that it caused flakiness and all that, but from my experience, the only "side effect" I got was redness, but it wasnt that bad, cos I only used bp at night, and by the time morning came... the redness would die down. So it wasnt really a biggie to me if you know what I mean?! Plus, if the worse did come to worse and the redness was still there in the morning, I'd just slap on some studio fix after moisturing in the morning!
The whole "lizard skin" thing never really happened to me tbh, all I can say to that is to ease off the bp a bit. I think one of the main things to remember is to increase the amount of bp slowly. But, if you're getting this "lizardlike skin thing going on" I say, stop the bp, let ur skin "recover" for like a week or something and then, if you feel like it, you could try again. Also, what percentage of bp is in that quiniderm thing? is it 2.5% ? cos although I know some people use higher percentages of it (e.g 5/10% ) sometimes that can have an affect, especially if ur new to bp and all that.
As for me keeping clear. I was on antibiotics for quite some time (minocycline), that stuff worked wonders on me, but the side effects in my opinion, didnt really make it worth it for me. I was actually telling turnergirl about this before, but like my gp keeps changing (locum dr's working there) so every time I go, they keep prescribing the mino and I was told that your not really meant to be on it for longer than a year in one go, yet I was on it for like 2. The side effects, well...kinda took its toll on me, so I quit taking the antibiotic back around christmas sometime. Thing is, my skin was "bareable" so to speak, but suddenly, more recently my skin is just getting ridiculus

But I'm starting to think it's probably due to crazy hormones and high stress levels at the moment, cos my skin was fairly clear from like january till now. I basically cleanes with a gentle cleanser (neutrogena skin deep, comes in a pump bottle)/ if I want something medicated, I'll use L'oriel pure zone (the one in the can that foams & has SA in it) only problem is that i cant find the one in the can anymore

I'm starting to think they've discontinued it

which is why I'm on a hunt for another cleanser). As for moisturising, I'll use the l'oriel purezone is pretty good, but I think I need some spf, since summer is on its way and all

(I say that, whist it's pouring with rain outdoors, lol). But that's generally kept me clear. Oh, yeah, and in the shower, I use the oxy in the shower, shower gel. That's been pretty good at clearing up any body acne that I have.
I think I might give the "BE trying" for later on... I really need to finish up all the products I have first

lol
catch ya later!
