I want to take Vit A but if i took the amt given which is 1 a day with a meal and thats 8000IU ... well when should i stop tkaing it? you all say in the long run its bad for u but whats that taking it for 1 year ... 10 years ... 20 years? i dont want to damage my body ... but i want to be healthy and Vit A is essential and if i can ahve clear skin thats great. So if i take 1 a day how long should i b on it for?
also does it really decrease oil production? bc my face gets shiny like around noon time so taking Vit A regularly will it stop that and get rid of pimples?

I take about 20 to 30,000 IU a day... i dont know if its helping because I think its just the Clear Skin Regimen that is. Lately I feel like my skin is oily (if i take it or not) and i end up just blotting it with a tissue. Been only taking it for like... 2 and a half months now. I may stop taking most of my vitamins cause its adding up (cept the Noni- i am keeping that for my back). I think i am clear just from the clear skin regimen... cept my scars are another story.

its alright i am gunna try it anyways, seems like others are having results. oh i also read that there is evidence that adverse effects (including birth defects) may be caused by doses of 25,000iu or higher. and thats a scary thing i do not want to have my children have birth defects bc i took to much Vit A... so be careful bc u stated u do take more than 25000IU

I'm currently taking 50,000 IU a day. I know it may be a stupid decision, but after researching it, it shouldn't be too bad for short-term. It really dries out your face. Too bad that's not the only thing making my skin crappy.

I'm taking multi-vitamins which contains VitA, and it does help reduce the Oilyness of skin
but does it stop acne? lol i'll find out soon.

i don't think its good to injest.
a year back i was gonna buy stuff at thevitamincure.com cause it has 25,000IU per drop but they said not to take it internally. i use it topically and the oil went away almost at once. no need to eat it.

well it is a natural vitamin and is essential for ur body and its found in so many fruits, vegtables etc. that i cant imagine why it wouldnt b bad to digest ... but i guess you only need so much and after that it becomes toxic thats y ppl on here are crazy to use 30,000IU ... when ur not suppose to go over 10,000IU!!!! so i am juss going to buy a bottle which is 8,000IU
