This is an understandable fear. However, the science behind bp will help alleviate that worry. Your skin can not physically ever become immune to the beneficial effects of bp. If it works at first, it should always work. This is assuming you continue to follow the regimen precisely. Some people experience a recurrence if they slack off or start using less bp.

The only two ways I could think of acne returning in force would be if you had a major hormonal shift in your body--pregnancy, menopause, taking steroids--or if you started regularly irritating your face in some way.

I bought a certain kind of bp gel and on the pamphlet inside it said that skin can get used to bp and stop working. are they lying or what?
