my skin is the worst about a week before my period, and slowly begins to clear when my period actually comes. then i have a week of smooth skin with no new breakouts (although there's almost always spots that are still healing, and always dark marks), after which my skin gets consistently worse until my next period.
ditto.
in the week before my period, i literally wake up overnight to horrible skin: large pores, dull complexion, and patches of these tiny sebum plugs. argh. i only noticed this recently as i didn't even think about the link to the mentrual cycle. but at the same time i'm not really sure cuz the results could be confounded by other things, like poor sleeping and stress. argh, i juz don't know.

i totally wish our skin could tell us what exactly went wrong!!! i hate the guess work!!!!
i heard that hormone affected acne occurs on the chin. but i like never get pimples there. i just had a small one this week on my chin, haha, first one in like a yr. does that mean my fluctuating skin condition is still associated with the menstrual cycle/hormones?
