I was using salicylic acid awhile back for my acne and at first my skin got dry and flaky from it but then adjusted and had no further problems. I was wondering if the same can be expected from BP or will my face just always be dry and flaky? I'm only on the second day of the regimen but my face already feels so dry and oily and is getting flaky and I can't stand it! Guess I'm just hoping to hear that my skin will adjust nd then everything will be fine.

My fae has never gotten used to large ammounts of BP spread around my face. It's not that my skin gets dry which is what i thought of first it just gets really flaky.

Yeah it'll adjust. I remember the first time using BP my face felt like it was burning, and I woke up the next morning with swollen eyelids and everything. I stuck with it and now I dont even use a moisturizer at night since it does not dry my face anymore.
