I have no clue whether I have dry/normal/oily skin.. Seems like everything at once.
When I first started the regemin, maybe Oct or so of last year, I followed the products exactly, meaning I used the Purpose bar of soap. When I first started using the regimen, my skin flaked and slightly peeled after every use of the Purpose bar. My skin didn't flake after putting BP though, unlike a lot of people on this board. My skin did feel tight though. After a while I guess my face got used to it; the Purpose bar i mean. Because after lathering my face, my cheeks and forehead didn't flake and peel.
Fast forward to now. I used the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (the liquid thing) and after every wash, it seems like my face is still oily. my face wasn't shiny after using the Purpose bar but after the Cetaphil, my face feels somewhat slippery.
any recommendations? and can someone define dry/normal/oily skin for me plz?
what kind of cleanser is right for me?

Hey bananas,
To find out your skin type, go here: http://www.healthyne.../skin-type.html
As far as which cleanser - if Purpose worked well for you, why did you switch? I guess there must have been some reason for you to try Cetaphil. I recommend that you use Purpose if it works, otherwise, check out this thread for another option: http://acne.org/mess...72af3791e0e4b2c
I swear by this stuff, but I never tried Cetaphil, and Purpose seriously dried out my skin. In my opinion, it's worth a $1.50 investment even if it doesn't work for you!
Good luck!
