I don't normaly feel oily but today I am. Today is the first day I used BP. Is this normal? I thought you would be drier with BP. Any suggestions?

Maybe it is your skin producing more oil due to the dryness from the benzoyl peroxide? Did you apply moisturizer today as well?

Yes I did apply my moisturizer. I always put it on in the mornings since it helps make my make up go on smoother.

your skin can try to compensate for dryness by producing more oil. Make sure you aren't rubbing your face when you cleanse, keep cleansing time short and sweet.

I used to have this problem too. Instead of using moisturizer after BP, use an oil-free sunscreen such as Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch instead. My face stopped producing so much oil during the day.

my skin has been oily too, i started about 3 days ago.

3 things that might help, and might not. these are just my ideas.

1). use slightly less bp as you are new to it (2 lines of bp on your index fingure shouls be about right unless you have loads and loads of spots).

2). allow longer (30mins) for BP to be absorbed into ur skin before applying moisturise.

3). dont use too much moisturiser (i think half amount of bp).

oh yeh dont touch your face all day either, just wipe yourr mouth if you eat though obviously!!!

good luck,

TIM
