1. what was your case of acne, and by when were you mostly clear?
2. do you apply BP on affected areas or all over your face to prevent breakouts on all of your face?
3. did your skin peel, or was it just red and dry in the first two weeks?

all answers are greatly appreciated!

Moderate acne... clear after three months. BP all over my face... just red for the first couple of weeks. short and sweet, I'm exhausted! :(

I personally have to keep using it every day twice a day. Sometimes I skip at night if I've been out drinking or my boyfriend spends the night. but that's not that often (he lives 5 hours away) so, usually it doesn't break out from that.

the regimen doesn't treat the cause of acne...(tho there is no actual accepted agreement of what the cause is - hormonal acitivty and genetic disposition are two core factors) it treats the symptoms...the oiliness, the bacteria etc.I reckon if I stopped the regimen tommorrow my skin would be pretty good for a month or so but then would slide back into its old habbits. I am not prepared to find out. But the regimen is no different to most treatments in this respect. The only treatment likely to effect some kind of permanent systemic change is accutane which shrinks your sebaceous glands. Most people do "grow out" of acne....so it is about treating the problem until you get to that point.

Unfortunately not even accutane works permanently for everyone. both times I took it my acne came back after a year. I'm sticking with the regimen. I'm w/ frances... I'm not willing to find out how long it would take for my acne to re surface. :(
