I don't get why people are getting so heated over this. I'm not trying to speak for Dan, but going off his mission statement, I don't think he made this site just to promote HIS regimen. I think his goal was to help as many people as possible get rid of acne, which is why we all ended up here. To me the point of these boards is to share info on what has and has not worked for us. What products you use on your skin is not part of your identity, we're not on teams here. Dan clearly supports other ways of treatment besides his regimen, that's why there is a separate forum for OTC's and prescriptions. The regimen didn't fit with me, but I still visit this site and over the past months all the different methods I've tried to cure myself have been ideas from this message board. Well there's my two cents.

He isn't selling anything. He isn't out to make a profit. He isn't a cult leader (well debatable... 'cause I'd join if he was
). He wants to help people get clear skin. Whether it is through his regimen (which is excellent), or by some other regimen, it probably doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter because in the end, I win.

The the blue corner, Dan, the heavyweight champion with an almost unbeaten track recored, he has a well established fanbase.
In the red corner, the challenger, Dr Dubrow, Light heavyweight with a short but promising career, he thinks he has the knowledge, we'll see.
It'll be a good fight ladies and gentlemen....
