I have 2 issues with these flushes:

1) it made me throw up after 6 hours tho i mixed the oil & juice like crazy. I don't know how to prevent this.

2) i do not wish to do enemas. Not due to pure squeamishness but to the fact that i read in a reliable magazine they are bad for you since they dislodge the important mucous in your intestines which contains essential bacteria.

That's interesting. I don't know if it's true. I won't do enemas/colonics because a) it's just gross, and b) it doesn't seem natural -- things are supposed to come OUT that end.

But I'm not opposed to doing salt water flushes because you just drink it. I wonder if they would say the same about those... eusa_think.gif At least I drink kefir, which replaces good bacteria.

It's grosser to have it IN you! From my experience, colonics are the most efficient way to get the putrefying waste out of you. Other option is to fast for a long period of time and take laxatives. This is just from my experience. I have fasted and done p & b shakes several times in my life and never seen the stuff come out that comes out during colonics. And I'm especially partial to them, since they did wonders for my skin.

Totally agree 100%. The reason why? I had done LOTS of bowel cleansing before colonics and I *STILL* had a lot of fecal matter when I got colonics.

I resisted getting colonics or doing enemas for years and that was stupid on my part. I let a fear or phobia keep me from getting clear.

Yeah, okay, they are probably good to do. But that doesn't make me any less freaked out about going for a colonic... and I definitely can't afford them now anyway.

When I took Oxy-Powder for the first time, for a week or two, my skin cleared up completely and stayed clear for quite awhile. So that led me to believe that my bowels were clean. But who knows.

You shouldn't be freaked out of colonics. Find a therapist who uses a "closed" system. You're just laying there on your back and you're all covered up, and you just release whenever you want. You get to watch the nasties go down a little tube. Quite satisfying! It's clean, non-stinky..less intimidating than enemas IMO - and less hassle too. I have to admit, I LIKE going to get them. My bf asked me if I wanted one for christmas! lol.gif

I understand the expense part. I'm lucky enough to get them for $45, but I did end up buying a colema board to save me some $, but I still prefer the colonics.

I have never experienced an "open" system but from what I understand, the therapist has to insert the speculum and you tell them when you want to release.

Thanks guys. For now I'm just going to use SWFs after liver flushes, but when I can afford it, I'll consider colonics.

Hahaha... it 'tis.

$45 is a damn good deal. mine are $90 a pop now! However, my sessions are an hour and a half long... so I do get my money's worth. The longer the better, because you'll be guaranteed a clean cecum (hardest part of colon to clean; near appendix).

DON'T DO IT.
those so called stones that come out AREN'T STONES BUT OLIVE OIL.
i was thinking of doing the flush as well at first, but preferd to search the net a bit for more info first. and i'm glad i did.
like i said, the greenish balls that come out aren't stones but the olive oil which is part of the "potion". i would say its dangerous their bullshit.read i closely.doesn't look safe to me.and definatley isn't prooven medicaly.

also you'll notice she contradicts herself several times.she also uses sentences such as "in my opinion".none of what she says sounds le jit.

it's just a way of convincing people to eventually buy her book.

Please explain your logic. Is olive oil dangerous? Is grapefruit juice dangerous? Are epsom salts dangerous? I suppose they could be in large doses, but anybody can go the pharmacy and buy them and the instructions for taking them are right on the carton. So if the flush doesn't do anything and all that comes out is what you put in, where's the danger?? I would think you would have to believe that you were getting stuff out of your liver and gall bladder to believe that it could be dangerous.

oh you blokes can't be serious.the ingredients might not be dangerous themselves, but together its a differnet story. if its so safe then why have people vomitted while trying it?why does she say that if you don't do it exactly her way you'll have "the worst nite of your life"?honestly, would a safe potion have this effects on your body?!!! are you guys not reading properly or what?

if you want to clear your liver take something like milk thistle, or aloe vera juice. these are safe and work.

don't be idiots and beleive her bull.go to the chemists and talk to them about it first.I DID.

do you understand me now????doh

Can you tell me exactly WHY a mixture of olive oil and grapefruit or lemon juice is dangerous?

If you looked a bit more into it, you'd see that there are many recipes for doing it. Some work better for some people. That's the thing about taking responsibility for your own health. You need to learn to be a critical thinker and not believe every little quote, no matter who's saying it.

People sometimes vomit because it's so much oil, sometimes the intestines just can't handle it. Vomitting it up isn't dangerous. Here's a question for you though. I vomitted up the mixture a couple of hours after taking it. However, I still got lots of stones out. How did that happen? The oil, juice and epsom salts came out of me in the form of puke, so it how did they form the stones?

If you mix the oil and juice mixture extremely well, it is highly unlikely you will vomit.

HIGHLY.

Obviously YOU aren't "reading properly".

I already stated that there are probably 10 different flushes out there.

Most of us already took milk thistle, aloe vera juice and didn't get clear. Matter of fact, milk thistle broke me out horribly because the toxins being released were being released too fast and my bile ducts were too clogged to manage the release of toxins.

Well i mixed the juice & oil REALLY REALLY well & still vomited! (after 6 hours) Am i just unlucky?? Might it be because i took 4 Oxypowder tablets an hour b4?? Perhaps i'll have another go without the OP. I'm not worried about harming myself via this method, but dunno how much good it will do either if i just vomit the lot up!

I'm seriously unsure about how good colonics are for you, you may think you're flushing out a load of crap when you are actually flushing out healthy mucous.

If you feel nauseas, suck on an altoid or drink some peppermint tea pronto. It'll REALLY help.

Colonics may flush out healthy mucous and good bacteria, BUT you NEED to get all those stones and toxins out of you ASAP. Colonics are the best for that in my opinion.

Sometimes people vomit if they are extremely toxic and have never cleansed before, but mostly it's because they didn't mix the oil and juice well enough. I shake my oil and juice for almost one full minute and I use a cup with a top on it. The reason I know this is because my husband ALWAYS vomited when he did the flush and I later found out he just used a fork to mix his oil and juice and he swore up and down that he "mixed it up REAL GOOD." rolleyes.gif I told him and told him and told him that he was doing it wrong, but oh well...... eusa_snooty.gif eusa_sick.gif

As for colonics removing good mucous....I would have to honestly say that that is so uncommon as to be labelled: extremelyextremelyextremely rare. It might happen if you got a large series of colonics really close together, but for 1 after a flush? Nope. I honestly don't see how that could happen.

I've had a series of 3 colonics (1 week apart) on probably 4-5 occasions, and it's never happened to me, once.

LOL well since i mixed the oil & juice so well (put it in a plastic bottle & shook it like crazy) perhaps i'm 'extremely toxic' who knows?!

As to pepermint tea i can't stand it. It makes me feel sick just by itself, my stomach goes all cold. Dunno what an 'altoid' is, i chewed an ordinary mint chewing gum straight after the drink but i wasn't feeling nauseous then, just 6 hours later. Can anyone explain that?

I also shook up my mixture in a jar VERY well, and still vomited. I sucked on peppermint candies too. The salt water flush made me vomit too. Ack! The good news is that I still got stones out.

I think next time, I'll try just doing one dose of oo in the evening and one in the a.m, and sipping ginger tea after I take the dose. Hopefully that will be less overwhelming on my system. I think I'll skip the SWF too, as that was definately the most horrid part. Denise, is your bottle of mag citrate a replacement for the SWF? I did a colema too, and that's when I got out most of my stones. Without the colema, they would have just sat there inside me.

Floss, if you read people's reports, many people vomit. I think if the oil sits in the small intestine for too long, the body just needs to get rid of it. You could try ginger tea instead of peppermint. An altoid is a strong peppermint candy.
