Hey everyone.....the emu oil at homepeels doesn't seem to be grainy or too smelly. I believe that SB removes the smelliness from their brands.

Will, I'm sorry to hear about all of that. But I think you'll be fine. Please let us know with regular updates how everything is going. We are all anxious to her about what happens with you.

Okay..i'm sure this has been answered, but gotta ask again

I just order (or I thought) I ordered the super serum/super cop from skinbiology as a bonus to my trireduction basic kit (including the salyc acid exfoliator). But when I got the package, I only got the trireduction and salyc acid bottle.

But the pamflet says that "trireduction is one of the strongest copper peptide product on the market" I'm confused...is trireduction equals super serum? #-o :-k ](*,)

It does have the same smell...is it stronger than the regular cp? (the small bottle with greenish liquid).

I put the trireduction last week, and a pimple popped up

Could anyone tell me which of peels is suitable for 1st time user with asian skin?? Glycolic, lactic or ??

Appreciate yur advice

Always start with lactic peels - I am Asian skinned and they work well and are gentle. Remember Cleopatra was the one to start using lactic peels (it's found in milk - she had goats milk baths!!) and she had brown skin. :-

Denise or Maya how much cp serum were you applying to the scabs. I think i apply too much making the scabs look darker due to the cp staining effect. I use about 4-5 drops and apply to a 2 inch area 3 times daily.

I also use Aloe Vera over the cp and this contains lots of vitamins and minerals. So i hope it doesn't cancel out the cp effectiveness in any way. ie does it contain vitamin c.

I get the aloe vera from the plant leaf and scoop the thick resin like material into a jar then scoop it out when applying it. However i don't know if pure aloe loses its quality when exposed to the elements. I think it does that's why you never see a 100% pure aloe sold in a tube because it needs other ingredients to retain its benefits over time. I try and change and use a fresh leaf every 2-3 days. I have 3 plants in the back yard.

Steve, if your skin isn't turning green, you should be fine. I wouldn't worry about the color of your scabs as long as your skin is fine. Scabs darken as you heal anyway, and that is probably what is happening. I don't know of anyone whose skin was turned dark by the super serum. I think that you should be ok with the aloe on top of the peptides as I believe if I'm not mistake that the peptides cancel out the vitamin c. I believe that the allantoin in the aloe would be great for your healing, so I really don't think that the peptides would be effected, but the vitamin c would.

I agree with Denise - also, the CP serum does make scabs look bluish - but once they are washed, the pigment leaves - it's not permanent. After needling/subcision, I applied the standard CP around 3-5 times a day followed by emu or jojoba oil.

The 3 best trans dermal carriers are: emu, jojoba and aloe vera - meaning that whatever else you use will be carried deeper if you use one of the 3 - so, you're doing just fine :-

I don't think there is any vit C in aloe vera.

Uhmm...can somebody answer my question? (sorry if this was addressed already).

Is trireduction stonger than regular CP serum? How is it more effective in reducing scars?
Thanks

Obi the cp strength order goes as follows:

1)super cop(contains retinol and salycalic acid)
2)super cp serum(salycalic acid as well. 30% more potent than reg cp)
3)trireduction(reg and a version with retinol)
4)reg cp serum

The trireduction yes is stronger. As for a % i do not know. I read once at delphi that Dr Pickart said super cp is 30% stronger than reg cp.

I beleive the retinol in tri will also be useful for treating scars, but some people breakout with the retinol.

I have a full bottle of tri and have never used it as yet.

This very high quality and effective anti-inflammatory cream is made up from our very popular unscented base cream, this is ideal for many applications and is especially good for athletes and sports people. Anyone who develops muscular aches or pains will love this product due to its powerful ingredients and soothing properties. As well as having all of the benefits that pure Emu Oil gives you, Our Muscle & Joint Rub also has Three other important ingredients to maximise pain relief from tired and aching muscles, stiffness and sore joints.

As Emu Oil has the ability to penetrate deep into the skin and to the muscle and joints it also pulls the other ingredients along with it. For the first time you can now apply proven ingredients below the skins surface instead of merely rubbing the cream over your skin that often prevents other products targeting the effective area. Winter Green - Has a heating and cooling mentholated power, it gives temporary relief to the symptoms of muscular, arthritic and rheumatic aches and pains, it is often used for symptoms of sprains and strains, lumbago and fibrosis amongst others. Emu takes those properties below the skin for the first time.

Peppermint Oil - Has anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities, it is cooling and refreshing, it also has properties that have been used to relieve colds, sore muscles, arthritis, motion sickness, dry skin.

Eucalyptus Oil - is used in Aromatherapy and has strong antibiotic and anti viral qualities, it stimulates the central nervous system, treats colds, flu. Sinusitis, and other respiratory conditions.

Combined together with Emu oil this Cream delivers positive results, a little goes a long way, as the emu will pull the cream deep into the skin there is no need to "over apply" to the effective area. Used when needed for speedy relief and recovery.

Thanks Will- I've used the trireduction three times so far. Broke one huge pimple right in the middle of my cheek right where the scar used to be. So now I skip that area and put BP on the pimple and dab the trireduction on the scars around it.

Looks like I may have to move up a bit to super serum. I'm impatient.

meme: Sorry, don't know the answer to your question. You might try e-mailing Dr. Pickart at Skin Biology and ask him.

Personally, I would keep it at normal room temperature since that is how it is shipped and doesn't say to refrigerate on the packaging.

I don't think there is any vit C in aloe vera.

The Aloe Vera Gel also contains a whole host of Vitamins and Minerals these are, Calcium, Manganese, Sodium, Copper, Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc, Chromium, Iron. Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Choline, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Beta Carotene (Vitamin A), Niacinamide (Niacin), Folic Acid (Vitamin C)* (Vitamin E)' It also has Amino Acids, Enzymes and Sugars.

Got that from some site.

I will keep using it though with the cp because i like it.

Well, lactic peels at 50% are really very mild, even post accutane users have used it with no problems - you're only meant to start with 1 minute anyway - really, it sounds bad at 50% but it's as effective as say a 30% glycolic, but feels like 10%.. hope that makes sense. Just make sure you moisterise and use sunscreen - get the skin biology emu oil as well if you want the works!!

Maybe I should direct this question to Skin Bio, but I thought I would ask anyway. Does anyone know what the life of Super Cop is as far as an expiration date? I was planning on buying 2 jars so I would have spent over $50 to get a bonus item which would be a 3rd jar of Super Cop :( Thanks.

As far as I am aware, there are no expiry dates for any of the CP products.

I am not sure if I would do that. I had the regular copper peptides for about a year. I stopped using them for a while and went back to use it and it had an old musty smell too it. You should probably call them and find out though.
