so, hopefully they're right that you go through the bad to get to the good. i haven't used the cp's faithfully either. i keep taking breaks cuz it just murdered my skin. but now i'm good. use the 2x cp and sometimes use the exfol. i *think* some of my scars look more shallow. but nothin to write home about. i used retina micro 2 times a week, and then i'd do a glyc. peel (40%) once a week.
here's something interesting about the cp's though...the retina micro made my skin really sensitive, but i had no idea. so i did my normal peel on friday. dude, i burned my cheeks so bad that i had scabs all over both cheeks the next day. someone asked me if i fell and scraped my face. i freaked out cuz i started summer school on monday, and i had brown scabs forming on saturday. i kept applying the cp throughout the day (super cp serum). by sunday, the scabs were darker brown, and fully formed. i looked like freddy kreuger. i was like, holy shit i messed up, and i got class on monday. i put the cp on maybe 4 times throughout sunday. i woke up monday, and dammit, scabs were flaking off, but all over my cheeks, and i had class in an hour.
guess what happened? after my shower, i was feeling shitty, so i went to the mirror, and lightly scratched the scabs. every single piece of brown scab fell off and my face was clear again! it was bad by mid saturday. and the scabs were gone by monday morning. i tend to heal quickly, so i don't know if it was that, or the cp. but i'm assuming it was both.
so i'll be using the cps for a few years. patience is key. i've done fast tx's and they didn't do shit for me. so, if something doesn't work, you gotta change the game. now i'm trying the slow route. no reason to complain, cuz i don't care if it takes 2 years, as long as it works. so maybe in a few years, i'll have good news for you all! ha!
kiss my balls, acne scars...

my doc doesn't know i'm on cp's and exfol. we were doing subcisions cuz my skin was 100 % clear, and therefore we could focus on scarring. well, after only one month of using my cp/exfol, i saw my doc again. he said my skin was "out of control". so he gave me pills and topicals. that's testament to how bad the cp/exfol messed me up. and it only took those few weeks for it to happen. oh ya, my skin was so bad that we had to halt scar treatment until my skin cleared up. he said we had to get rid of the acne, cuz it's the kind that'll scar. by the way, it's been 8 months since i've seen my doctor. i still break out (not that bad though).
but he also said, at the same visit, that my overall skin texture is better. i don't know if he meant my whole face, or if he was focusing on the spots that he treated w/ the subcisions.
so there ya go. the good and the bad. remember, my doctor doesn't know i'm using these cp's and exfol.

I've used Skin Biology Supercop and other products, and I found that for relatively new hypertrophic scarring, IT MAKES IT IMMEDIATELY AND PROFOUNDLY WORSE.
In fact, this has happened three times, and I'm done trying.
I found that it improved other areas of my skin where there was no scarring, but I wanted it for the scars!
Perhaps if I stayed with it, the process would reverse, but who can possibly keep going with a product that makes raised scars on your face look worse??
So that's just a warning. I think for older scars it doesn't have that effect and may help, but if your raised scars are new, keep this shit OFF!!

Please tell me exactly what you order and the wya in which you use it.
Thank you so much, this has been very helpful so far and I am placing my order right now wit the hope that I will not have to get dermabrasion done, I am very scared that it will leave me with a red nose.
Thanks

has ANYONE had good results with these products (or one or the other)
i am looking for someone who may have used these on their body as opposed to their face, but i will take any feedback i can get.
how long did it take to see results with these products?
does anyone know if it could potentially make raised scarring WORSE!?
this would just NOT be good!
any advice and experience with copper peptides would be great. i want to know your stories. thank you everyone!!!

so...
for those who are already using a BHA and a retinol, a stronger CP product will most likely be too irritating for you to use.
for those who had bad experiences, it might be because you started off on the wrong foot. You repeat that trend, and your skin will lash out on you. The trick is to start SUPER slow, and ensure you using the proper products along with the CP or anything else for the matter.
I find Emu oil on top or before the CP serum does wonders. Also if you are using a retinol or BHA, alternate day to day.
I've screwed up my skin using (what i know are) wonderful products. Instead of blaming the product and basically raping it of its efficacy, I first turn to my misuse and see what I did wrong to cause such a reaction. Then I play with it until my skin feels comfortable.
As for CP, I know it will make you ugly before beautiful. Know that the synthesis of collagen does not happen over night. Old scar tissue needs to become even more visible when it dies off. This is why a BHA or using some sort of exfoliant is dire. You need to help the skin shed the old damaged cells. To become beautiful, it takes time, and pain and MUCH patience.
I guess I want to conclude with: Its good to hear other people's experiences, however, for those it didnt work out for, I am truly sorry. But for those who are excited about CP's, dont become discouraged due to other's experiences... try it out for yourself, and master your regime -- and really listen to your skin.

Hi...I hope that someone can help me. I fell down the stairs about a month ago. I fell hard on my face...it happened so quickly that I did not even have time to put my arms out to brace myself. I got a large wound under my left eye. (It is about the size of a dime). Four weeks later...and it is still so red, shiny and indented in about 5 places. It is really getting me down. I was encouraged reading your posts...and am considering ordering the Super Cop cream. I have a few questions...is it too early to use this on a wound only a month old? Which products do you think I should order? And is there any major peeling that occurs with the products? I have pretty sensitive skin.
Thank you in advance.

Hi...I fell down the stairs a month ago. I fell hard on my face and got and abrasion type wound under my left eye. Can anyone tell me if the Super Cop 2 would be too harsh to try on a new scar? It is NOT looking good...very red and shiny and indented in places. Really scaring me...any advice would be greatly appreciated.
OOOOOOOOOOOPS...both posted...sorry

Im currently using a compound 2% salycilc - 8% glycolic acid & some other ingredient for acne.
in the am. Retin A micro at night.
i want to add copper peptides. Should i just get super cp serum?
and just wondering why are there 3 bottles included with the super cop? (on skinbio site)
confusing these scar treatments. or is it just me

...Anyway, I have two CP samples. Until I have the money to fix this, I'll start using CP twice a day (maybe more in time) and see if there's any improvement in a couple of months. ...

I just received the Super Cop cream and have been using it on my scar for about 4 days now. It is too early to know if it is doing anything. I agree with you though, the site and the products are confusing. I bought the sample package. I am still unsure about a routine and I have read the literature over a number of times. Has anyone had success with the Super Cop cream or any of the products sold on the Skinbio site? Also, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know what % of copper peptide is in the super CP?
Is it true that there is only like 0.05% of CP in the product? Is it becuase of the high cost of the ingredient or more than 0.05% too much for skin renewal??
