I've had moderate acne for a little over a year and now it is finally going away but it is leaving me with the battle wounds. But I have found a way to fade them out. It is not by make-up, laser, medicine, or anything like that. The answer is, peanuts. Sounds kinda weird I know but, one day at work (Ace Hardware) I was pigging out on peanuts and I noticed the following days the spots were starting to fade. And now last week I was eating them again and the same thing happened. I did some research and I learned that nuts contain Vitamin E which rejuvenates damaged skin cells and has been cited as having positive effects on the wound healing process. It's working for me, so at least giving it a try won't hurt.

There's no way it can heal that fast. I'm sure what you're saying about peanuts and it's healing process is true, but it's too good to believe your scars can start fading in a few days!

Yeah placebo effect, but hey positive thinking is good. It's funny because my Derm told me not to touch peanuts. Just almonds, cashews, pistacio's, walnuts etc.... ????

I have noticed a difference withen days.. not much, but enough for me to notice. Tomorrow I'm stopping by the store to buy a whole bunch of peanuts and it's going to become my new snack.

Vitamin E: Vitamin E is commonly referred to as nature’s own healing agent. Vitamin E has been cited as having positive effects on the wound healing process and possesses the ability to retard the conversion of soluble collagen to insoluble collagen (which is responsible for scare tissue formation). Vitamin E is believed to penetrate below the skin’s surface to rejuvenate damaged skin cells and promote healthy regeneration of scarred skin. Vitamin E is also believed to help the skin overcome the harmful effects of the sun. Vitamin E helps to preserve the health and integrity of the skin and prevent premature signs of aging. Bath By Bettijo also uses a specially formulated Vitamin E as a natural preservation system to prevent oxidation in our oil-based products.

It may or may not be the actual Vitamin E that is doing this. Just seems like it would make sense if it contains that substance and that is what it is known to do.

I have also found that nuts have tons of protein in them and that may be the cause of it...

dont know about getting rid of marks

but vitamin e makes red marks look 10 times better , its amazing the effect a moisurised face has on marks compared to a dry red face.

the only thing that compares with vitamin e capsules is egg white mask, none of them are enough to make marks dissapear quickly but they aid the appearence drastically
