Alright so my acne is pretty much taken care of, I still have a few pimples here and there every once in a while but nothing compared to how it used to be. Anyways, all thats left is redmarks and it looks worse than when I had acne in my opinion.
And they dont seem to be getting better, they seem to be getting worse so Im asking should I cut down on the BP to once a day or not every so often cause I think its slowing my red marks from healing. Am I suppoused to stop or do something different, Ive tryed the egg mask and vinegar and I think it makes it worse so I stopped but my red marks dont seem to be gettingany better, theyre getting worse.
Stopping BP for Red Marks to heal?

I've had a different experience than the above poster... I've never found BP to slow down the healing process of my marks. I've used Proactiv on/off for several years, and just recently after ending Accutane I started using the system again, only once a day (at night). I've actually noticed my skin has become a LOT more even toned, and it's only getting better.
I personally think that the key to fading red marks is exfoliation, and the Proactiv cleanser is a pretty harsh scrub. I also use a facial brush with a gentle cleanser in the mornings, so I exfoliate at least twice a day. If the BP is keeping you clear, I'd stick with it. Clear skin is the starting point of red marks fading... the more you break out, obviously the less productive you will be in achieving an even complexion. Keeping the skin clear is the first step, so I wouldn't mess with whatever is working for you now...just my opinion!

My suggestion; dont come off the BP.
If you must, cut down to at least once a day.
The last thing you need is for your acne to come back, and new red marks to form.
Red marks are caused by blod clots, the only thing that works would be medium to deep peels, IPL, laser [paticulary vascular].
Not to sure about the vascular laser been used on red marks, but it makes sense.
Take care

If the BP is worsening your skin, then stop using it! Unless of course BP is the only way you are keeping your acne away....
I had the same problem. WHen I use BP, sure it makes the pimples go away a little faster, but the redness gets really bad.
If anything, just put very light layers of it on... or use it less.. I don't know what else to say....
