I did my first 50% glycolic peel today and left it on for about a minute (after having previously done 5 or 6 ones at 30% and finishing that bottle) and have noticed that for some reason just above my lip on the right side of my face there is like this small... weeping patch... has anyone else encounted this and what should I do to get rid of it as quickly as possible?

If it's weeping it will become a scab, usually takes 1-2 weeks to get rid of completely.

Yeah, well I woke up this morning and now it's like an orangey patch that looks like a scab sort of. If that's what you mean. By 'weeping' I meant it was like wet with some sort of fluidy stuff seeping out of it although now it seems dryish.
How long did it take to go for you?

Hmmm... so do you mean 1 - 2 weeks before my skin can look sort of ok to go out? If not, how long will that be?

Well, usually 8-9 days is when it gets pretty normal, I'm not sure, you'd have to take a pic and pm me it or post it for me to give you a pin point time.
But, I've burned myself around 4 times with gylcolic peels, I stopped 50% cause I cannot even leave those basatards on for more than 1 min, but they use to NOT burn me and cleared most of my redmarks like 13 weeks ago. Anyways, mine use to feel very stingy and irritated both normally and whenever I moved my face (stretched it). They later were REALLY red and looked basically just burnt and were weeping, takes about 3 days for the scab to form and another 7-10 days for the scab to fall off, for me anyways.
Your best bet is to take about 2000mg of Vitamin C tablets a day, I usually take all 4x500mg Vitamin C pills at night so they work when I'm sleeping, what it does is produce Collagen in your skin so your skin heals faster and such.
Go get some Vitamin K cream, it's great for skin after chemical peels and face surgeries, that's what derms/plastic surgeons use after theirs. Do that like 3 times a day and every 3 hours apply polysporin/neosporin.

well it's the second morning after... it seemed to have turned into a scab the morning after... and now it's starting to fall off although looking reddish where it's fallen off... is this bad or just new skin or whatever underneath... I haven't been picking at it, just putting on Sudocrem.
