Has anyone tried Bio oil before for red marks or scaring? I got it yesterday after it was reccomended by me and people say it gives awsome results after a few weeks.

Has anyone had any success with this stuff?

I have been using it for about three months. I haven't noticed any dramatic changes, unfortunately, but I think it does improve the overall skintone, and it is a great moisturizer. It is not greasy or irritating, and it's wonderful to use after a peel or microdermabrasion- it's very gentle.

I've also read postive reviews of bio oil, however I think it takes alot of time to see improements.

When people say something 'takes a lot of time to see improvement' I always wonder if the marks would've faded on their own by the time people decide such things have actually worked...

Well, what I meant was that IF this stuff works, it must take a long time to do so. I have read some reviews from people whose marks/ scars were very old. Personally, I have some redmarks that are ten years old or older, so at this point I consider these permanent sad.gif . And, if Bio oil is going to do anything to these marks, then clearly it's going to take more than three months of daily use.

But I definitely know what you mean, especially when some very young people say that a certain product completely faded their marks, and their marks were relatively recent- I always wonder if they would have just faded on their own...

Basically, all I'm saying about bio oil is that we shouldn't be too swayed by the testimonials, and we definitely shouldn't expect fast results...
