I'm from Canada and can't get a meeting with any plastic surgeons for like 2-9 months, so I got one in one month if I went to the USA. It's in Niagara Falls at the health institute. What do you think the plastic surgeon will decide to do? I have mild redmarks so it won't be anything out of the ordinary.

he'll say you will be scarred forever and you wasted your time...not really...but why dont you wait til your appt instead of asking us BECUZ WE ARE NOT PLASTIC SURGEONS. WE DONT KNOW WHAT HES GONNA SAY BECUZ WE CANT SEE YOUR FACE AND WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH IT. QUIT ASKING. WAIT TIL YOUR APPT. IT DOESNT DO ANY GOOD TO ASK WHAT SOMEONES GONNA DO.

Plastic surgeons do facial resurfacing all the time....mine did dermabrasion on my face about 5 years ago and the results were fabulous. I think you're smart to want to go to the best, most qualified professional to handle the one area on your body you can't hide from anyone...your face!

I'm currently on Accutane but I plan on going back to my plastic surgeon for more resurfacing after my course is done. Good Luck!!!

John you have 3 red marks, why go to all this trouble? Youll probably hurt your face more than healing it.

Ya, you can go to a surgeon to have a deep peel or something done. That's what I did.

If you've only got 3 red marks then I assume that you're very rarely getting any active acne these days? I don't know what the plastic surgeon will do, if its only 3 mild red marks then they'll probably suggest some peels or might just tell you that it will be better off leaving them to heal of their own accord

Don't forget ben, I'm from Canada and he's in the USA, no coverage for cosmetic stuff like this, he'll get some money out of me and we know it.
