I've made several posts about oil production and redmarks in other threads, but i'll quickly summarize to offer a background before i make my main point at the bottom. my "regimen" mainly consists of lessening how often i wash and cleanse my face. I personally have seen a lot less oil in my new routine (and faster healing of marks), by simply cleansing once per day instead of twice (ie. cleanse at night, quick splash of water in the shower in morning). I used MaMa lotion on a couple redmarks for just a week now and saw great improvement as well. I've also been taking vitamins, A and Zinc at night, C and E in the morning, as well as a multi in the morning which contains everything, especially high percentages of your B's. I read online about B2, B3, B6 and B12 -- all are seemingly helpful for skin and one or two in particular for oily skin. sunflower seeds are also a nice little snack which are good for vitamin A which helps the skin out a lot. and if you don't mind salmon, that's a really healthy way to get on a better diet for yourself and your skin. simply get the salmon in a can and you have a great little snack for lunch.
But to the point of this particular thread: If you only have a few remaining redmarks, yet you are fed up with going out and having them easily noticable, i greatly recommend the products offered at www.4voo.com. i use the cleanser which is really gentle and full of healing ingredients, but what i really recommend is the shine reduction powder. if you don't care about touching up with a little powder in this age of the metrosexual, they have a great product which does an awesome job of concealing and healing at the same time, and providing protection from the sun. I simply use the pad for my cheeks and forehead which helps control the oil throughout the day, and then i just dab a cuetip onto the powder and apply it to the few remaining redmarks i have left. your appearence will improve that day instantly and will continue to heal under such concealing. just don't use too much, otherwise you'll look chalky and approaching death.
hope this helps for any big dates soon on the calender.
