I would take your question to the scarring section of the boards actually. Alot of the people that post there don't even look in the OTC section.

Hi Tutsy! I used Elicina cream on my face and keloid. It did not help with my acne and acne scars though it somehow helped my enlarge pores, tighten my skin a bit. With my keloid, it lightened a bit but did not decrease the size. I used it on my face for 2 months then I started using Acuzine... that 's where my problem started. It was ok using elicina alone(on my face) but when I used Acuzine then I started to have more breakouts. So now I stopped using both. I'm only using Elicina on my keloid. I don't know if it wil help you with those axe scarring. But if you ask me if Im going to buy Elicina again, my answer would be no. I'm just finishing the last bottle becoz I bought 2. I'm not making a refund becoz somehow it helped lighten my keloid a bit and decrease the size of my pores but again that was all it. Maybe I should have used Elicina alone, I should have not tried Acuzine, maybe my skin will still be ok. But I stopped using Elicina on my face already, so I would not know how it would really help with my scar or not.

WASTE OF MONEY!!

Can't believe i got sucked into the ADS, using snail goo on the face!!

It had a neutral effect on me didn't do nothing or did it irritate my acne which is good. Was really drying.

Waste of money about $25 for it USD

Personally, I feel Elicina may help somewhat with red marks, but will likely not help with actual scarring, and certainly not to the extent that the marketing claims it will.

Hello,

my problem is enlarged pores and some ice pick scars.. I even posted my experience recently about having used tca 100% cross method and i really panicked because after my scabs fell off, my scars are even more indent and bigger than they were..so I got a lot of different advices, but I guess, it really depends on yur skin type and what works for another may not work for you and vice versa...So what I did was I incorporated all the advices but still did a trial and error... and I really want to make sure that my scars heal well, since it was my very first time to use tca peel and it was really a risk on my part...I spent so much buying different products to apply on my skin while it is healing, since newer scars are easier to manage than the old ones...I must say one practical way to dramatically change the existing old scars is use tca peel, since it will penetrate the dermis, a mild form of creating a wound since scabs will form, thus inducing collagen formation...but reaction varies, it may either overreact or cause hypertrophic scars or indent/ atrophic scars. so since my skin looked so awful, I took time researching and trying products that could possibly give my skin a positive reaction...my healing time has been quite a bit long, almost 2 months.... I tried applying different moisturizers, mederma, some toners with lemon, vinegar with lemon, also drank tomato juice, vegetable juice, tried applying vitamin e gels, fish oil gels, dmae cream, emu oil, hydrogen peroxide, etc....really felt frustrated...

Everyday I try to observe for any progress or changes in my skin, but for several weeks, I did not notice really any change, until I decided to come up with a combination or formula.... surprisingly, in just a couple of days, I already saw some changes,

after washing my face, I use apple cider vinegar (pure)...I only use cotton swabs and dip it in the ACV then apply it only on the scars.then wait for 10 minutes or when completely dry, for the very first time, when I applied Dermarest scar remover (you can buy at walgreens for only $8.99 and there is a money back guarantee in case it does not work for you) alone, it did not give me remarkable result...so after applying dermarest and leave it on skin until it becomes dry and invisible, then i tried putting snail cream, which I purchased on ebay...the seller was very honest, kind and helpful in suggesting their most wondeful product...(guatemala_art), then once my skin has dried and the creams invisible, that is when I start applying emu oil...(again, I bought it on ebay, for a very economical price....seller's ebay ID is direct2uwholesalecom...see, most products such as emu oil, scar creams are very expensive, so I tried the ones that are more practical...I realized that sometimes, one product alone cannot do enough so you will have to combine it with others that also meet the same goal... so far, I felt more relaxed because my skin has evened out....the redness too has become less visible...though i still have to put concealer for the meantime if i need to go out but unlike before my skin was badly indented that even if I put on concealer, it looks worse...I am taking care of the healing process very well...also, pls use your little finger (pinky) when applying on scar areas.. applying too much pressure might not be good for the skin...

to sum it up:

1.Apple Cider Vinegar (99 cents)--when using it as toner, it's better to dilute with water 50/50..but for scar areas only, i would rather put pure...
2. Dermarest -$8.99
3. Snail cream- more or less $15..or just bid for lowest cost on ebay:)
4. emu oil - just bought mine for $5...through bid on ebay....check the seller I put above...

* also take multivitamins, fish oil/fax seed oil as part of your dietary supplement...I believe vegetable or tomato juice has benefits as well..

I just really want to share this in order to be able to help those who might be more or less in the same predicament as mine.. but ofcourse, another thing I have learned is to be patient and relax...I really want to thank those who gave me advices here...I took each one's advice and integrated it to come up with the most effective formula for my skin...
