Thanks! So do you wash your face before the mask also or just after?

Something alarmed me in your message when you said you'd thought about using plaster. I'm an art teacher & when plaster dries, a chemical reaction takes place that causes it to heat to up to 150 degrees causing irrepairable damage to skin. I don't mean a little redness, but severe scars & once it dries it's extremely hard to remove.
I've done plaster face molds before safely, but only by applying vaseline to any skin that will be in contact with the plaster. Here's a link with a warning about that : ( a student had to have 8 fingers amputated after trying to make a mold of her hands:
Clay would be OK. I know you were probably kidding, but just wanted to throw that out there.
I love it.
I've tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING from clearasil to astringents to otc medications to script antibiotics (oral and topical) to retin A to differin to apple cider vinegar to baking soda masks, clay masks, i even once thought about putting plaster all over my face (it has intense drying properties). Sometimes I feel like I'm going to lose my mind!
Milk of magnesia really seems to do the trick. Not only does it dry up the oilyness, but it also soothes which is a huge problem for me. When my skin breaks out, it puffs up and all chaos breaks loose. This stuff is helping -- BIG TIME.
For anyone that has tried it all, give this a shot. Its worth the $4 tops that you'll pay for a bottle.
Shake it up well! Apply with a cotton ball. Let dry for 20 mins. Wash off with a gentle cleanser.
Sometimes, near my period, I leave a thin layer on all night.

I haven't tried it as a "primer" yet, but will today.

As a mask, it seems to be doing nothing for me. As a spot treatment, however, it's better than anything I've tried, really. It seems to bring cysts to a head overnight, and the redmark from the cyst it annihilated has faded really quickly. And it completely zaps tiny little zits overnight, so it's working pretty well as a spot treatment. I'll try to remember to give another update in week.

-does it dry white? do i have to apply foundation over it, or can i just apply it in the morning to keep my face dry all day (i have really oily skin) without putting makeup on top?
-in the morning, can i put my acne medication (BP) on top of it, or should i put it on under?
-and also, when i use it as a mask at night, do i just leave it on, wash it off, and then put my acne medication (differin) on after rinsing MoM off?
THANKS SO MUCH

Hi what kind of moisturizer do you use after you rinse with the magnesium citrate. Thanks, Tiffany

It is a saline laxative.
It would be cheaper to apply salt water to your face.
yea but it isnt the same thing. Salt water dries your skin out too much.
