takes a while to get used to, i usually take straight teaspoons of it.
I let it melt in my mouth and then swallow.

It took me about 2 weeks to get used to it.... Coconut oil is REALLY strong tasting.

You can put it on fruit which tastes great or put it in a smoothie which tastes even better. As for veg, try dripping some coconut oil on some finely chopped up courgettes and stick them in the oven for around 20mins....hmmm yum and healthy smile.gif

Then it's not authentic! True extra virgin coconut oil has a strong smell of fresh coconuts and is NOT cheap!

Was the one you purchased relatively cheap? If you are not using pure extra virgin coconut oil (without any other added ingredients because it contains its own antioxidants therefore will stay fresh for up to 3 years) then your wasting your time taking it.

Yes, just use it for your cooking. I used it to saute vegetables. Or coat veggies in it and roast them.... sweet potatoes are REALLY good this way.
