hey
I have a pimple on my chin that i acedentally knocked and the top came off. Is it ok after i was my face to put some dettol anaseptic spray on it? Coz ive run out of my tea tree oil. Will this work?

Try diluted vinegar instead.

In my opinion I think you should NOT put dettol anticeptic spray spray on the spot. I once came up with a bright idea to bathe my face with UNDILUTED dettol liquid. At the time it burnt like hell, and my face went bright red. Anyway to cut a long storey short, I woke up the next morning with my whole face basically turned in to a giant scab - seriously. The sensitive skin under my eyes was burned to bits and looked nasty and scabby, so to was my forhead ugly. If there was ever a time I wished I could turn back time - it was then. My face took ages to heal and I was fortunate not to scar. I dont know weather the spray is diluted or not - but I wouldent take the risk if I was you. Just because you have a picked spot, it dont mean it cant heal without putting cream/lotions on it.

But seriously - I have done many stupid things in my life, but using undiluted dettol was the stupidest.period.

LOL. Thats something I will never do again.
I pnly put a little bit on my one pimple on my cheek, and like i slept with it on and i woke up and i had like the skin coloured scab or like a flim over it. you couldnt see it but you could feel it. I tried to pick it off but i couldnt!! I put my make up on and its was all flakey around it, Even with moisterizer on it. and yea it stayed for like 2 days on my face and then last night when i used a scrub only the edges of it came of so i got some tweezers and peeled it off. Now i have a massive red mark, My biggest one so far!
