How do you know it will subside by then?
EDIT : Well whenever I stretch my mouth (it's near there) or stretch my skin it doesn't hurt at all or doesn't sting.

John, no offense but you are TOTALLY freaking out about this thing.
As I posted before (in another one of your plethora of posts), the redness WILL go away. I have chemically burned my face (around my mouth, more specifically), about 3 times, and every time, no matter how big or red or crusty or painful the burn was, it went away.
Just stop fussing over it. You made a booboo, the booboo will eventually go away. Apply polysporin if you really want to, but in the end, it probably won't make a difference. Just be gentle with it -- NO harsh chemicals.
Time will heal it, so stop panicking and flooding the forum with the same question over and over. Please, for the sake of the boards.
I know how it is to get anxious about this stuff, but worrying constantly over it isn't going to change a thing. Just relax, and be nice to the wound until it goes away. Good luck with things.
