has anyone tired injecting with a fairly new injector pen device made by Restylane ? I'm going to have a look around to see if they can be purchased over the web. The device ensures an even distribution of filler (obviously their own - Restylane Vital Light) and is aimed at areas like hands and decolletage etc. I was thinking it would be easy to add volume to facial areas aswell,
thanks

You are exactly right. If you proceed with the checkout process.
The site I order from clearly states the product is OTC, then adds "orders placed from the US require a prescription."
Yet, I always receive my product.
And I'm using a CIPA certified pharmacy, completely legitimate. I should add, I do have a prescription to present, if they ever ask for one. But so far, they've not done so.
For people who cannot locate the verified pharmacy, PLEASE click the link below and choose the first search result. NOT the top sponsored ads, but the first search result listing:

A "yellow head" .. do you mean like a blemish?
This is not medical advice, but yellow and green are oftentimes signs of infection. Like when you get a cold, and it turns into an infection, your mucus will turn yellow, then darker yellow, and if it worsens, a greenish tint.
I have no idea if the yellow is just your base skintone, or something else, but you might want to swab the area with alcohol, then apply some neosporin.
If it were me, I wouldn't worry, because acne itself IS an infection, and we've all dealt with acne.
If it worsens, you may want to see your dermatologist, just to be on the safe side.

thanks for replying. It's just like a tiny little yellow head, you know like a spot? I would normally just sratch this sort of thing off as they are usually quite close to the surface. I swab the area with alcohol before injection, and then afterwards really massage the area. Maybe I should put a lttle anti-septic on afterwards? do you think it will be ok ?
thanks again

Ohh it sounds like milia then:

If so, that's really common and nothing at all to worry about.. kind of sounds like what you're describing.
Using alcohol *and* an anti-septic sounds like a good idea. For what it's worth, I've had various results after injecting. Sometimes I'll get a tiny bruise, a pink bump, or a white bump. It truly varies. But, I never worry unless it worsens or becomes painful. So far, it never has.
Like I said, I can't give medical advice, but if it were me, I'd keep it sanitized with alcohol and neosporin, -not- pick it off, would not massage the area, and just keep an eye on it.
So the short answer is, if it were me, I wouldn't worry.

£125 per 1 ml perlane + £10 perscription.
I rang this pharmacy and told the pharmacy person that i wanted to buy some perlane for my acne scars....have u ever injected it yourself he said....no,ive only read on how to inject perlane. The pharmacy person told me to order an online prescription to get the perlane...leave it with me the pharmacy person said,i will let the prescription service no u want a prescription for perlane.I then ordered an online prescription which was approved on 5/12/09 and i ordered the perlane which came today 9/12/09.
What i want to know is how deep do u inject the perlane?

How many times have you injected yourself? More than likely you will have to touch up the areas 2 weeks after your first or second time since you most likely underinjected.
