id love to try it but the receptionist and the doctor's office told me it takes one month of using obagi products to prep your skin and altogether (along with the peel) it costs upwards of $450. I dont wanna shell that out unless i know im gonna get amazing results. Somebody tell me something!

Heard some good things about this, but usually for pale skin types.

Yes, it's fine for anyone to use because how far down the chemical goes can be controlled. However, I don't know if the results are as dramatic on darker skin types.

The obagi peel is best suited for people with darker skin types. I am using the Nu-derm system (prepping) and it works great. My redmarks are fading, and after another two months, I want to see whether or not I would still need the peel. Some people even decide that they dont need the peel after using the system. Ive been using it for roughly 5 weeks.

oh yea...the system is pretty hardcore....what i mean is that, the retin a will cause redness and excessive peeling, which is normal. but this system is definitely not for the weak at heart...but dont worry, the redness and peeling will slow down after the 2nd week and continue to slow down.

sry...=) i more piece of advice....only buy the Retin-A at the derm's office since its a prescription. The rest of the products can be bought online for cheaper.

I've tried the obagi blue peel but it didn't work for me. I'm asian so i don't know if my skin color had any effect on the outcome. But the peel was sooo painful. The lady put 3 layers of acid on my skin. I was blue for like a week hiding out at home. I didn't see any improvement. I thought it was a waste of time and money. I paid around 450 for the blue peel
