I pray for the sake of myself and others out there that you are wrong. There is no such thing as permanent marks

Yes there is such thing as permenant red marks, but the chances of that happening are very rarely and I think genetics also plays a factor. I think they may only happen your mid twenties when your skin doesn't heal as fast. But if your still a teenager I doubt you should worry, but it can seem like your marks are permenant since it sometimes takes more than a year.

if you can keep yourself clear for a while they will fade but u need to stop your acne first

i had red marks for about 2 years now and im still hopping that they go away.

well i'm pretty sure you cant get permanent red marks from acne.

i believe all red marks from acne fades, it just takes time...hang in there

Nope, im pretty sure they cant be permanent. How long they stay would depend on your skin and what your doing to it, but its just pigmentation. It has to fade eventually.

Upon having my marks for 5 years i'm pretty convinced they can be "permanent"

but then again, if they are... I guess you need to be posting in SCAR forum.
