I've just bought some apple cider vinegar after reading a few threads on how good it is

But I also use differin, so should I also apply the vinegar to my face? What do you guys think? I don't want to make things worse.

Because, for my regimen with ACV and TTO I use them alone, no other creams etc. (except during shower - Dove soap)

Ok I used the ACV and not my topical treatment last night and i've already noticed my skin is smoother Just now to wait for the red marks to fade. yay!

Lately, this topic was quiet...some of you didn't even presented a progress/evolution of their case..though, this can be very encouraging for everyone.
Hope you will get more active, you know, to keep the spirit up.

In my case, I think my acne now is about 20% less, so I've improved.
I'm also considering to change the ACV with Wine vinegar, maybe Japanese wine vinegar.

I eat 2tbsp a day, apply a 50:50 acv/water mix to my face(as toner), and it's got rid of nearly all my blackheads(Started less than a month ago.)

I've also notice, that the blackheads were remove.
Almost all of them, the ACV and TTO have a strong effect on blackheads.

Still to fight, with the acne . One battle was won, against the blackheads!!!

I've found another forum where people confessed positive results after using the ACV.
Some of them, have also drank 1-2 tbsp ACV in a glass with water. Which, I'm interested to do it as well.

I just stumbled upon this. I'm 22 and I've had mildish acne since I was about 13. I guess on a 1-10 scale it's been about 6.5. Well I recently transferred to a school about 2 hours from home and my skin broke out like crazy. Easily increased to an 8.5. I used to walk around and see guys with really bad acne and think, "Well, I've got it but at least mine isn't that bad," and then I turned into the guy that people looked at and thought "At least mine isn't that bad" I'm not sure what caused the break out but I am sure it was very not enjoyable.

So I started looking around for ways to get rid of acne. One thing that has helped IMMENSELY is DRINKING MORE WATER!! which I haven't seen alot of on this thread. After I began drinking more water, my face cleared up within 2 weeks. Within about 2 months I went from an 8.5 to a 3. I'm quite certain it was water because I just had spring break and unfortunately I was too broke to go to key west with all my friends so I sat home and played Call of Duty for the week. I didn't drink much water while I was home and I noticed that when I got back to school, my face broke out again. After a week of drinking tons of water again my face has cleared up, almost as if magic.

I use pro active on my face at night; it really just keeps my acne at bay, but I'm too scared to switch to something else. I also use lemon juice on my face, which makes it really smooth and helps to remove scars (apply with a cotton ball before I use the pro active), and I've found that shaving often helps alot as well. I only shave about 4 times a week cuz I can't grow a beard yet (weak) and I do it before I go to bed cuz the skins looks really irritated after shaving, but great when I wake up the next day. I also shave before the lemon juice and pro active.

I know this is a thread about backne but I had to explain how much DRINKING LOTS WATER!! helped to clear my face up. I do have backne but I've never really tried to get rid of it. Haha, it didn't bother me much till I was home over spring break and my friend made the comment "yeah she might think your hot now, but she'll be scared away once she sees your back." Ha, a true friend will point out your flaws so you can improve them. I don't get alot of zits anymore on my back but I do have a lot of scars and red marks. I'm going to try the apple cider vinegar before showering and see how that works. I'll let ya'll know how it works.

IN THE MEAN TIME, I CANNOT STRESS HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO DRINK MORE WATER!! I drink about 10 tall glasses a day, I don't measure it but I think it comes out to about 60-80 ounces a day. I'm constantly peeing, but my face looks great! Also, getting alot of sun will help as well. I used to clean pools and I was in the sun nearly 12 hours a day (I don't recommend this much sun) and I was in and out of pools throughout the day as well and my back and face were very clear at this time. Also, if you have a pool now salt system pools are much better for your skin.

hey, i've been using ACV for a while now (three weeks i think) and it really is amazing, my red marks has decresed in size and the redness has toned down tremendously!
I too have noticed I have hardly any blackheads now and i still get white spots but only now and then, i used to get atleast 3 everyday, now it's just every week or so! They heal so much quicker and when i do pop them cus i'm naughty sometimes lol the readness is gone by the next morning if i put ACV on ( although it does sting) i use it on my face, chest and back and has really improved my skin texture as well.

I cannot say how thankful I am to this community for the help it gives everyone. I have never felt so good about my skin until I found this site.

I used to get atleast 3 new spots a day, but now this has decreased dramatically.

Sorry, missed the last question. I use it morning and night (so twice a day) I normally dilute it with water but when I get annoyed with my skin I put it on straight, it stings but it worth the pain.

Thanks for making it clear for us.
I use the ACV with TTO straight, without diluting them. My skin stings a bit, very little now, compared with the first tries.
Now, I'm almost 1 month on the regimen, and I still got acne. I believe I got healed like 30%.
My condition was like moderate-severe, quite bad - chest and back. The reddish marks shrunk, but the spots are still there, just reduced. I'm on my second bottle of ACV now.
Still more to go, but I don't give up .

Last year, in the Mediterranean sun, I was healed 98%, the sun was amazing. But after the summer went, the spots were back in a couple of weeks.

Hi guys, me again

Therefore, I'm not eager to let this Topic die so I will add some news.

My chest and back are more clean than last week, I approximate that now I'm like 40% clean.
For this, I changed a bit the regimen.

1. Drink lots of water (more than 2 liters a day) - I fill a big bottle, then I will drink from it throughout the day
2. The ACV and TTO, I use them diluted with water. 75% ACV and TTO - 25% water

It seems that the ACV, diluted works better than straight, at full strength.
Tomorrow I will go to: 65% ACV, TTO - 35% water


Hope your doing fine! Have courage guys, we can make it.

Hey guys,

I had been reading on this thread for a while and decided to put a post on it. I have been suffering for face acne and bacne for 13 years (from inherits I believe). Tried many types of prescriptions, either orally or topically. Somehow had my face acne healed to some extent (but still getting some acne here and there during PMS and stressed periods) but my bacne is forever there. Urghhh.... =(

So far, has been trying on ACV orally and topically for about 5 days. I am currently using the 50/50 procedure, with having the mixed solution in a spray bottle. I will spray the solution on my back for about 3 times a day and will apply moisturizer after each application. Besides, I will also consume 2 tbsp of ACV in a cup of water everyday. There's several breakouts on my chin (as always) and I think somehow my back got a little bit better. Texture is smoother, although there's still some old breakouts and much acne scars.

I am quite desperate on having my bacne cured.....Can anyone tell me if there's anything wrong with my current regimen? I read about the sea salt and ZNP soap regimen too. Any recommendations?
