Hi i'm 19 and from australia and was on accutane 3 years ago this september (6 month course) and i have some scarring on my temples and cheeks.
I recently heard about a product called bio oil (www.bio-oil.info) which is meant to reduce the appearance of scars, even acne scars. I'm sceptical as to putting oil on my face because although i don't break out that much i still have oily skin and am worried it could trigger a break out again.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried this product and what they have thought of it. I know it's available in australia and the UK, but i'm not where else.
thanks
Bio oil

My sister has for a long time used it for small marks and red post acne marks and she likes it but if you have larger indents and scars try something else.
Just for shallow scarring and marks try the vinegar and lemon method or if you have some money go to http://www.skinbiology.com and order some trireduction P&R and/or cp serum and exfol cream/serum

So did the bio-oil improved your sister's red post-acne marks significantly?

Let me correct what i said. She used Bio-oil before and after giving birth to two kids, this has resulted in no stretch marks at all. She has never used it on acne scars.
I apply Bio-oil twice daily for hyperpigmentation and skin-tone, i prefer it to copper peptides because it doesn't stain my face and cause irritation. I don't know if it works with scarring. My face still has little indents on it from the subcision needle.
