I was wondering does the kind of milk you are drinking effect the acne on your face? I was drinking Vitamin D milk now I drink 2% Reduced Fat Milk, I try to stay low on dairy products. When I eat cereal (Honey nut Cherrios) I usually just eat the Cereal and not finish the milk. I'm 14 by the way. I heard Soy Milk might be good?

There are thoughts that regular cow milk may cause acne
(see this page)
However, your bone development up to the age of seventeen determines how strong your bones will be in later life, so you need to make sure that if you do choose to cut milk out, you still get plenty of calcium.

what do you mean by "good milk"? you should only drink cow's milk if it is organic and unpasteurized. otherwise, don't drink it. use rice milk or almond milk instead. soy milk is not healthy. eat kefir (similar to yogurt) for calcium.

I drank soy milk with Honey Nut Cherrios almost every morning for the last 5 months during my diet. I can't say this eliminated by acne, but it definitely doesn't cause me to break out.

Soy milk is good. Unfortunately, many people are allergic to soy.

Cereal is not the best breakfast food. Try oatmeal with cinnamon and organic fruit.

For the past 5 months I've been on a strict vegetarian diet and havn't ate any form of dairy, meat or seafood. I still broke out regularly during my first month which I expected. After that it started to significantly slow down. My break outs completely stopped just before 2 months of my diet.

organic is the way to go! but if you are allergic to it DO NOT EAT IT! I've done that and it's REALLY bad for your body (for me anyway) But IF you are allergic to cows milk you can try goats milk, or soy, rice, ext. What ever you like! Silk cremer is REALLY good! Hope that it helps!

Be careful. Soy milk can adversely affect the thyroid. Soy formula is no longer recommended for babies. Premenapausal women should avoid it as it competes with the bodies own estrogen on the bodies receptors.

We are drinking rice milk. The Rice Dream Original, unfortified version. I don't know why but the fortified version contains, D2 rather than the preferred D3 which is usually what milk is supplemented with. D3 is better at helping the body absorb and use the added calcium.

it is ok in moderation OR IF IT IS FERMENTED properly. japanese people ferment their soy producrts to eliminate the chemicals from the plant that can cause harm to our body.
