blue and red light therapy for acne

Im am currently exactly 1 week in on using the lights 15 minutes a day and havent noticed anything yet. I was told that these lights work different for everyone. Some people notcie results within days and it takes a 2 months for other people to see results. I have a 90 day trial with the lights and if they dont work within a couple months i will return them before the trial ends. I have high hopes with these lights because i have done quite a bit of research and many studies and experiments in the past have proved that clear/blue light therapy does work. There are alot of competitor versions of these lights such as dermalux, acnelamp, happyskin, etc. I bought my lights from Sci Color because they had a higher intensity in wattage which makes them closer to the dermatologist blue light therapy. I will keep you all posted as my progress moves on. Im hoping to see some sort of improvements soon. If anyone has experienced using these types of lights or light therapy...please post your responses as well.
Thanks.

I am now using it twice daily without fail, 7 days a week. It helps to speed up the healing of breakouts and has worked very well at drying out the spots under my chin on my neck.
All in all, I am glad I purchased it. I prefer using it to applying lots of harsh creams to my face and I think in the long run I will see decent results.

So are you noticing better results from the recent consistent usage versus the inconsistent use over

Yeah, it's similar. It seems to emit a more narrow wave length range of red light than the bulb because the light is a really "hot" red color similar to a laser pointer people use for presentations. It's annoying because the laser beam is very narrow and you have to hold it the whole time - unlike the dichro light - and only a small portion of the skin at a time can be covered. I've been using both now consistently. I haven't seen any results yet that I can contribute to either of them. However, I have been using my right cheek as a control for the red light in order to compare progress until I get my camera back. I'm also hoping that weekly chemical peels help with "refreshing" my skin for better results.
BTW, what do you use to cover your eyes?

The longest time I used the lamp consistently was about 2 months. The rest of the time I have used it but skipped days and sessions here and there. My previous job was partly to blame: no time in mornings and too tired at night. Bad excuse I know but thats how I get sometimes.
I found that consistent use helped my skin, yes. I was still prone to breakouts but they were limited and less severe. I am confident that if I carry on with it from now on I will see similar results if not better. My main issue now is with red marks and scarring. I am not sure if the lamp will help with this but we'll see!

The purplish scar towards the bottom of both photos is what I gage my photo positions by. It lets me know what area I am looking at.
left cheek approx. two weeks ago:

left cheek today:

*sigh* What do yall think? Is it kind of working after ~ 2 weeks?
