I heard that you could steam your face for a short time. like 5 minute, wash, then apply bp. because your pores are open through the steam, the idea is that the bp gets right down to the pores and kills the spots? What do you think guys?

Where did you hear that steaming is good for acne? I've heard others mention it on the boards here. But I had always heard that steaming was bad for acne because it 1) irritates, and 2) aggrevates inflammation. I use a bp product in the evening, and my evening regimen is very similar to Dan's regimen, but I use an ICE CUBE in between the gentle cleansing and the BP. Ice reduces inflammation. Been doing this for about a year and have had great results. Virtually clear skin and browsing the boards here to try and get the last 5% or so of clarity - to reach 100%. Interested, though, in what experience others have had with steaming.
