Does BP burn your skin?

I was just wonderin if Benzoyl peroxcide burns your skin? especially because this regimen calls for alot of BP. DOes the BP make your face red? I just want to know so thanx!

it doesn't burn my face, but it use to make it red when i first started.

Yeah, a lot of people report irritation such as itching, burning, and redness. It usually subsides in the first or second week though. Benzoyl peroxide kills acne bacteria.

Your skin "toughens up" to BP. During the first weeks, if you use too much (and sometimes even if you use a little), you'll probably have a bit of a sunburned look. It goes away though and stops burning.
