hi.. i was swimming out for about 4-6hrs under the Georgia sun...
that was about two weeks ago and ever since..
ive had crazy acne on my chin lines and my temples..

ive never had it this bad before.. but wow, it amazed me!
i was just wondering.. could bp multiply the amount of sunlight thats being absorbed? maybe something like a suntan lotion?

and.. did this ever happen to any of you people out here?
bp = devil? lol.gif

this foreign acne is killing me..
why must it come to this right when i get the bp?,.

Yeah, BP is known for making your skin more susceptible to sunlight damage, which includes sunburns, and I would imagine tans. That's why pretty much every BP product recommends you use a sunscreen if going out into the sun for any period of time.

Rhino is absolutely correct. BP intensifies the effects of the sun on anyone's skin. If you use BP in the morning or during the day, it should ALWAYS be followed with a small amount of gentle non-acnegenic sunscreen at SPF 25 or higher. Sunlight + BP = premature aging, wrinkling, and potential skin cancer - NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SKIN COLOR IS.

Just to be clear: BP by itself doesn't do this - it is the sun, but BP intensifies the effect.

I've seen this question come up again and again in various message boards here. Dan and acne.org should make the use of sunscreen more prominent in the regimen since you are encouraging people to use BP in the morning regimen!
