I have bacne and i've had it now for about 3 years. i have found that in the past tanning outdoors in the sun helps the pimples go away. lately, after the pimples on my back go away, they leave these ugly dark brown spots. I was wondering if tanning will help these spots go away? please help me!!

from my knowledge the only way they will help the spots go away is that the spots and your skin is becoming more closer in tone. However i have also heard that tanning will just make the spots even darker. :/

I started tanning two weeks ago. I had no active acne on my back. the only thing left were the brown spots. The tanning helped me in two ways. First it caused me to burn then peel. The peeling got rid of the superficial layer of skin. Second, it makes the remaining spots less visible.
