Dimethicone
Form of silicone that gives a silky feel. Protects against moisture loss. Also cuts the greasiness in SPF products.

Scarzone's primary ingredient: Dimethicone.

Dan says,

Here is a list of the ingredients in the Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15 (which IS non-comedogenic):

Purified Water, Octyldodecyl Neopentanotate, Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax N.f., Glyceryl Stearate, PEG 100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Triethanolamine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Carbomer

---

So what I'm gettin at is this: I would think that Dimethicone, which is the main ingredient in ScarZone - right? if you are using ScarZone, could you check the ingredients? - is non-comedogenic; otherwise, the Neut. Mois. SPF 15 would be comedogenic. eusa_think.gif

What do y'all think?

I just picked up some ScarZone.. here are the ingredients. I was wondering if they are comedogenic, too.. I don't know enough about all the ingredients, though..they are new to me.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Octinoxate 7.50%----Sunscreen
Zinx Oxide 3.93%----Sunscreen
Dimethicone (Silicone) 4.00%----Skin Protectant

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Water, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Peg-30 Dipolyhydoxystearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Peg/PPG-20/15 Dimethicone, Peg-22/Dodecyl Glycol, Copolymer, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Peg-8, Hydrogenated castor oil, Cetyl dimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Butylene Glycol, Allium Cepa (onion), Bulb Extract, Silica, DmDm Hydantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Phytonadione.

...I wonder what the % in the moisturizer is? I've used that one for years, but it hasn't helped with scars! lol
